The culmination of the first two #tbt posts before this: a 4-way split between Two Houses, canopies & grapes, The Kate Dollenmayer Collective, and Ana Pascal.

This was a joint release between us (back when the cult was still PKi!) and our Lucena homies, Sleepy Eye Collective. Each band wrote two songs exclusively for this split, and quite possibly recorded it as shitty as they could. Y'know, for extra tr00 hxc punk points.

SEC made a bunch of CD-Rs of this and sold it at Two Houses shows, while we handled the online side of things. Imagine having to scour myspace blogs for mediafire links. So punk.

Two Houses was comprised of two high school kids from Lucena that just wanted to play their skram hearts out, so they didn't even bother looking for other members. DEDICATION BRO.

canopies & grapes, lowercase natch, is an "acoustic screamo" project (we swear it sounds better on record rather than paper) sort of in the vein of My Own Private Alaska - only more noodley with the riffage. Dude is from Laguna.

And those other two bands, well, they're assholes. Fuck 'em.

We have to say tho, those two Ana Pascal songs are their best recorded material. Shouts to you if you recognize where those lyrics come from.
